Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard, and Dusty Hill combined to form one of the most powerful and successful trios of the Rock & Roll era. Ironically Beard is the only member who lacks one. Although their roots are firmly entrenched in The Blues, they gained enormous success as a Southern Rock band in the 1970's and as a radio friendly Pop band in the 1980's and beyond.
