There can be no dispute that James Marshall Hendrix is the dean of all Rock guitarists. This Jimi Hendrix T-shirt is named for the song that cemented his legend, Purple Haze. Although Hendrix was a master sideman for the likes of Little Richard, The Isley Brothers, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke and King Curtis, his real coming out party was his appearance at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. He blew everyone away, including all the other artists.

I ordered this shirt for my son who wears a size 6X ~ normally would shop at Big n Tall but they have 'old men clothes' so I started looking for something else. I came across this site and there was so much my son would have loved I had trouble narrowing it down to just one for his birthday. This shirt is great. Fits good and looks good. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the shirt was more of a blue color than purple like the picture shows.
